We will handle the prorate proceeding, so when a loved one dies, the wishes of the decedent are carried out properly.

What is probate? What do I do if there was no will at the time of death?

In the event that an individual passes away, the assets that belong to the individual will not be transferred automatically to the beneficiaries of the deceased. The will of the deceased must be submitted to surrogates court. This legal process is called Probate. Our lawyers guide the process of probate in proving that the will is valid. If there is no will, then our lawyers will guide and handle the process of Estate Administration. Our lawyers will handle the long and complicated process for the beneficiaries.
We will create an inventory of assets, file the probate petition with the surrogates court, appoint the executor named in the will, continue to advise on the marshaling and distribution of assets, advise on outstanding debts, and any other information regarding the process.
